Hearing the Time is a solo that explores how memory changes over time and how our recollections of events can grow, dissolve and become irrelevant with time.

Hybrid Human explores the constructed notion of robots and ideas around the disembodied experience, consciousness, creativity, alien intelligence, and artificial life. Created in conjunction with the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s exhibition, “Wanda Koop… on the edge of experience” and previously performed at Nuit Blanche, The Gallery Ball, The Winnipeg Art Gallery, The National Gallery of Canada, The Gas Station Arts Centre, Arts Court (presented by The National Arts Centre), The Dancing on the Edge Festival and dance: made in canada.

A New Creation at Girls! Girls! Girls! 9 – “Tools of the Trade”, an annual fundraiser for The Gas Station Arts Centre
Choreography and Performance: Jolene Bailie

Jolene is a founding performer and has performed the opening act in this cabaret show every year since it’s inception in 2005. This fundraiser was originally founded to raise immediate funds immediately after community members saved the theatre from becoming a Giant Tiger store. Starting as one thing, growing to another, this fundraiser is now an anticipated community event.
