Girls! Girls! Girls! 6 “Rapture”, The Gas Station Theatre
Jolene will perform an excerpt from the solo show, ”inanimate jungles have clocks”, at The Gas Station Theatre’s annual cabaret fundraiser. This show sells out and features a gallery exhibition as well as an amazing line up of local artists (and it is also a rockin’ good time).

International Dance Day Ceremony at the Legislative Grounds, Noon-1:00pm, free
Jolene Bailie, Claire Marshall and Tiffany Thomas will perform a short excerpt from new work in progress, created by Jolene Bailie, between 12:15 and 12:30pm in this outdoor event.

International Dance Day was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Committee of the UNESCO International Theatre Institute to increase the awareness of the importance of dance among the general public, as well as to persuade governments all over the world to provide a place for dance in all systems of education.

Gearshifting Performance Works and Jolene Bailie are collaborating with Wanda Koop, Hugh Conacher and Susan Chafe for a gallery performance in conjunction with Wanda Koop’s retrospective show, presented by The Winnipeg Art Gallery. The opening performance will be featured at a large-scale kick off event and will feature on-going performances throughout the evening.
