If you are a dancer who would like to dance with Gearshifting Performance Works, one of the best ways to connect with Jolene is to come to our Open Classes offered in conjunction with Gearshifting’s Project Work.
Most Dancers working with Gearshifting have come in by invitation based on their work in class, or have recent experience working with Jolene, or through funded mentorship/bridging projects.
It is not our practice to hold auditions. Typically we hire Winnipeg-based Dancers. Each season and number of dancers hired varies.
Volunteer: Gearshifting Performance Works is always looking for volunteers to help out with our home show in Winnipeg and occasionally throughout the season. If you would like to help us with a variety of jobs, including ushering at performances, postering your favourite hangouts as well as a variety of other odd jobs, please contact us.
